A 44,000-POUND LIFT!
The electrical building was built by Metron and provided by our industry partner, Browns Hill Engineering, the system integrator; it houses all the electrical gear for the site – including the Motor Control Center, VFDs, panel boards, and PLC. The structure was put into place by ProLift Rigging who, due to the extreme winds that were a factor in recent days, was able to reschedule the lift at the last-minute.
Our Industrial General Superintendent, Scott Dick, would like to thank all of our partners who were integral to the success of procuring, building, and placing the structure – as well as our amazing team – Chris Wedow (Superintendent), David Moore (Journeyman), Kerry Walsh (PM), Tyshane Young (Apprentice), William Barella (Apprentice), and Maximus Schmeising (Apprentice). Said Scott: “This crew is also being recognized as Crew of the Month and I could not be MORE PROUD of every single one of them!”
Fantastic work, team!!
