BUSINESS OUTLOOK & COMPANY HEALTH UPDATE
UPDATE #16 – 4.9.20
I hope you and your families are staying healthy and safe.
Here is some good news to share from this Thursday:
Hospitalizations in New York are starting to flatten, which means the curve of infection is beginning to flatten. This may be too early to tell, but a hopeful sign.
Weifield has rallied 80+ people to get working on the Convention Center project. Hansel Phelps’ Corporate Safety Director is impressed with our Weifield team and how well they are doing on the project, driving the project forward AND being safe while doing it. Thanks for making a great impression out there guys and following the guidelines.
Additional employees are volunteering to take salary cuts or donate to Helping Hands for the company to stay healthy. It makes me proud to see the outpouring of support for each other at this time.
Here are some updates:
Yesterday I had our fourth video conference with the Field Management team, and we had 53 participants. It is great having so many people join in hearing, sharing, and learning about how we can live our values and take care of our employees. We will be updating the FAQ sheet and getting them out to everyone.
We still only have one employee that has tested positive, and we hope that it stays that way. Thank you all for diligently working to fight this virus.
Please make sure to see the latest news and resources on our Weifield Weekly site.
Thank you for your continued support and hard work during such a difficult time. We will get through this one day at a time.
Thank You, and God Bless,
Chief Executive Officer | Weifield Group Contracting
