BUSINESS OUTLOOK & COMPANY HEALTH UPDATE
SETH ANDERSON ~ STATE OF THE COMPANY ADDRESS AUDIO PLAYBACK [4.15.20]:
UPDATE #28 – 4.27.20
Good Evening All,
Below are a couple of things to share:
ACC in TX is back working again after two weeks of staying home. Be safe out there. From the reports I have heard, we didn’t lose much ground, and we are able to stay on top of the project.
CV19 Updates – General & Government:
New Systems of CV19
CDC added six new symptoms to COVID (chills, shaking, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste/smell). COVID toes: red (like icy fingers) or purple/blue lesions on their feet. Range from mild-severe, generally 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. See more information here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html
Several projects are being pushed out or being put on hold, which will impact our manpower needs. We are proactively evaluating options to identify other projects that could start earlier than originally planned and where we could shift resources to other projects currently in progress. We never want to have layoffs and will do everything to avoid them, but with everything changing so quickly, we might not have a choice. The good thing is that we have projects all along the Front Range, from Laramie down to Colorado Springs. Be sure to let your Supervisor know if you are willing to travel in the event certain projects need additional resources.
These are not enjoyable topics to address, but want to be as honest and transparent as possible. Things will get better, but in the meantime we’re focused on different options and our sales team will continue to seek out projects for us to do what we do best….electrical construction.
Keep your head up, be safe, and God Bless you!
