“THE MENTORS I’VE HAD AT WEIFIELD HAVE BEEN SO GREAT” ~ TESSA CAMPBELL, WEIFIELD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING
I started in February 2013 and the company has grown tremendously since then! I’ve taken on many roles at Weifield and am happy to be a part of the Precon and Biz Dev department working between Karla (Biz Dev) and Marketing.
It’s a fast-paced industry, and speaking to Denver’s economy, provides job security to so many that other industries cannot. What’s awesome is that as long as we’re still winning work, we can always provide employment and that this industry (and, Weifield in particular) always has its doors open to people wanting to start fresh in a new industry.
The mentors I’ve had at Weifield have been so great; we’ve grown together professionally, personally, and ensured each other’s success and well-being. This experience is something I have and always will cherish about my career at Weifield. In particular, I want to thank Karla, Jill, Cameo, Lauren, and Penny for helping me find my strengths and work towards them.
What I enjoy most about Weifield are the behind the scenes (or not always very well hidden) shenanigans that unfold. There are a lot of brilliant, creative, and innovative people in this company; and, everyone within our Biz Dev/Precon department brings their own unique piece to our department that keeps it quirky, fun, and continues our team’s growth in the right direction. Along with my making art for my coworkers.
It may sound simple, but I aspire for myself and others to be happier than we were the day before and to never let a moment pass that we don’t share gratitude for those around us and the impactful additions they add to our lives. By doing this, we’re growing a healthy environment for the best versions of ourselves to flourish, which is extremely important to me.
