Junior Account Manager

General Job Description

The Junior Account Manager is to act as a key leader in the entire work acquisition process including management, coordination and delivery of the project while managing relationships with clients and implementing measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency.

Company Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis and Documentation: Research, analyze, and document the estimating process at Weifield finding ways to be more efficient and profitable.  This involves conducting meetings with members of the Weifield management team to discuss bidding strategy and targets.

Identify Solutions for Improvement in the Organization: Through process analysis, this individual shall determine areas of improvement in terms of efficiency and company effectiveness, developing appropriate solutions.

Tool Analysis: Research potential tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes.  Tool analysis and development should be executed closely with both software development and the chief technology officer.

Training/Mentoring: Promote the professional growth of the team. Continually pursue opportunities for personal career/training development.

Recruiting: Continually seek and refer potential employees to the Weifield Human Resources department and the management team.

Industry Awareness: Continually seek industry and market information to provide Weifield with the information necessary for successful business development.

Job Specific Responsibilities

Expected to learn & develop within the role

Responsible for generating revenue to meet sales goals of the Service Department

Coordinate with the dispatcher to organize, prioritize and assign incoming service work orders to field electricians

Handles incoming service accounts and customers both new and established

Educates and assist customers in choosing services and products

Walk projects and prepares comprehensive proposals

Accountable for establishing new accounts

Oversees the proactive coordination of project scope to achieve maximum efficiency and cost management

Must adhere to and have a sound working knowledge of all company policies & procedures.

Responsible for the development and enforcement of policies, structure, reports and procedures on Service Projects.

Responsible for coordination with Service Dispatcher and Manager for all accounts

Responsible for meeting Weifield Group’s expectations for Customer Satisfaction

Responsible for close coordination with other departments including Pre Construction and construction for support and additional revenue.

Follow up with clients and building relationships

 

Qualifications/Skills Required

1-3 years of Account Management experience in the electrical industry

History of successful client and business development for Service contracts.

Knowledge of the NEC and local codes

Knowledge of electrical design, construction methods, and electrical installation

Working knowledge of all applicable disciplines of construction drawings required.

Strong computer skills including MS Office suite, Bluebeam/Adobe

Must have strong leadership skills, strong oral communication skills, active listening skills, and excellent writing skills.

Need to be a self-starter, demonstrates success in cradle to grave sales

Must be able to work cooperatively with a variety of personalities and departments.

Experience with working in fast-paced sales environment

 

Reporting

The Junior Service Account Manager reports to the Senior Service Account Manager.

Compensation Package

Start Date: TBD

Status: Full-time

Pay Rate: $80,000 – $95,000 per year

Car Allowance or Company Vehicle: $825 per month

Cell Phone Allowance: $150 per month

Employee & Family Health Insurance: Healthcare 100% of the family “Base Plan” by WGC 1st of the month following date of hire

Voluntary Dental/Vision Insurance: Paid by employee based on coverage selection 1st of the month following date of hire

Disability & Accident Insurance: Paid by employee based on coverage selection 1st of the month following date of hire

Life Insurance: Paid by company at rate of $50,000 policy, 1st of the month following date of hire

EAP:  Provided by Mines and Associates on behalf of Weifield Group

PTO:  15 days annually, accrual begins upon hire date. First year accrual is prorated based on hire date and may not accrue the full 10 days in year one.

Paid Holidays:  Seven paid holidays per year.

401k/Safe Harbor: Participate after 60 days. Weifield matches 100% of investment up to 4% after one year of consistent employment.
