General Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the Marketing division and resources to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Weifield’s marketing and communications initiatives across all audiences, regions, and platforms. The Marketing Manager aligns efforts with company goals to increase the company’s market position, enhance internal and external communication, support growth initiatives across regions, and continually improve Weifield’s brand recognition in the marketplace. This position is project leadership and strategy oriented with the majority of time spent developing, implementing and maintaining marketing processes and systems for assigned projects.
Business Process Analysis and Documentation: Research, analyze, and document the electrical project process at Weifield finding ways to be more efficient and profitable.
Identify Solutions for Improvement in the Organization: Through process analysis, this individual shall determine areas of potential improvement in terms of efficiency and company effectiveness, then develop appropriate solutions.
Information Dissemination: Develop and facilitate high-quality and high-frequency communications throughout the company. Investigate and implement tools to achieve these goals.
Company “Handyman”: Act as an internal consultant to help multiple persons and departments within the organization develop programs and solutions to enhance efficient and/or effectiveness.
Training/Mentoring: Promote the professional growth of the team. Continually pursue opportunities for personal career/training development.
Industry Awareness: Continually seek industry and market information to provide Weifield with the information necessary for successful business development.
Job Specific Responsibilities
PRECONSTRUCTION & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
Assist the Preconstruction and Business Development team with writing/development for proposals and presentations on an ongoing basis in support of the departments’ ‘Win Work’ goals
Lead/assist with event management activities and coordination as needed
Lead/assist with charitable activities and communications as needed
Assist with promotional item strategy/execution in support of client and employee gift/reward programs
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY & EXECUTION
Lead company marketing and communications strategy and execution, including marketing/design deliverables to enhance company brand recognition, company newsletter writing and development, social media content strategy and development, and internal/external communications strategy and development for other company platforms including website, weekly news site, company Intranet, client communications, and more
Lead company award development and submission process
Lead company video writing and development strategy
Lead regional marketing and communications development and execution and work with regional leadership to develop effective strategies on an ongoing basis
Lead departmental process development and communication in support of department & company initiatives
Effective leadership of Marketing & Communications team members and associated career potential
Continual communication with management on team performance and needs/opportunities
Strategize and implement new marketing initiatives, while maintaining current marketing initiatives for both internal and external audiences
Participate on business and corporate committees to identify new Weifield techniques and advancements which will benefit clients and the organization as a whole
Contribute to the vision, goals, and objectives of the company
Contribute to company policy and procedure enhancements on an ongoing basis
Excellent time management and project tasking; flexibility to meet project deadlines
Positive attitude and team player
Superior written, oral communication and editing skills

Education: High school diploma and college degree required
Experience: 5 – 10 years’ experience in Marketing/PR/Communications; previous construction experience preferred
|Pay Rate||$125,000 – 150,000 a year|
|Employee Health Insurance||Healthcare 100% of the employee and family medical “Base Plan” by WGC 1st of the month following date of hire, not to exceed 90 days of employment|
|Voluntary Dental/Vision Insurance||Portion paid by employee based on coverage selection 1st of the month following date of hire, not to exceed 90 days of employment|
|Disability & Accident Insurance||Portion paid by employee based on coverage selection 1st of the month following date of hire, not to exceed 90 days of employment|
|Life Insurance||50K Life and ADD policy for employee only, paid by employer 1st of the month following 60 days, not to exceed 90 days of employment|
|HSA Plan||Employee can set aside $3600 pre-tax dollars /$7200 for Family 1st of the month following date of hire, not to exceed 90 days of employment|
|HSA Company Contribution||Up to a max of $600 annually, contributed through four quarterly contributions. The employee must have active work hours on the week of assistance to be eligible. This amount is inclusive in the calculation of the max contributions allowable under an HSA plan.|
|FTO||Flexible Time Off policy|
|401k/Safe Harbor||Participate after 60 days. Weifield matches 100% of investment up to 4% after one year of consistent employment.|

|Work Schedule||7AM- 5PM Monday through Thursday and 7AM to 3PM on Friday.|
Due to the nature of this position additional time may be needed in order to complete work activities with no additional compensation.
